spreading
the vallejo love

It
all started on September 15th when my best friend Jessica convinced
(dragged) me to go see VALLEJO at Hanover's. I was sitting on
one of the benches there when she smacks me and goes, "look
it's Heath!". I was like, they walk around? Completely
dazed, cause all the shows I go to the band hides! They started
performing around 8:00, I believe. When they started, I was
amazed - they hook you with their sound! I wasn't completely
hooked yet, and not totally convinced of their power, up until
my next show (Antone's) when they blew me away! I just couldn't
believe my ears. They sounded awesome! Man, VALLEJO has changed
my life!!!!!!!! Before them I had never see a "local" group
perform. They opened my eyes (along with my best friends')
to a whole other world. I used to only listen to big bands -
mainstream things - I didn't want to go anywhere, I felt there
was no need!!!
But now, now I know I HAVE to go out! I have to go and see VALLEJO
almost every time they come (hey, if I have to miss...I have
school and work *please forgive ME!!!!!). They are the sweetest,
loyalist, kindest, cutest, most talented guys I have seen yet!
They make me dance every time I see them...and if you know me,
I DON'T DANCE, but VALLEJO can get me going EVERY TIME (even
if I am not feeling well) with their LATIN ROCK!!! I am so grateful
that they were my first official local band to see because I
know if it had been anyone else, I don't think I would have
gone back!!!!!! THANK YOU VALLEJO!!!!!!!!

My
friend Garett just happened to be at the Curtain Club in Dallas
when Vallejo was playing one night. He totally fell in love with
them and called me and my roommate, Toni, and told us we needed
to see them. The next time we saw them it was Omar's birthday
and it was a kick ass show! I e-mailed A.J. as soon as we got
home from the show and told him how awesome the band was, and
how die hard of a fan Garett was. The next time they were playing
was at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas, and I asked if they would
sign a poster for Garett that we got at the last concert so I
could give it to him for his birthday. He actually e-mailed me
back! I couldn't believe it. He said "sure we can sign your poster
and maybe you can come up early and hang out." Hang out? With
Vallejo? I had no idea these guys were so down to earth and cool.
They really love their fans and LOVE music! I was stoked!
So they signed the poster, we got to meet them, ate some good
Hard Rock Cafe food, and Garett loves me for life for getting
to meet his favorite band. Life is good. I don't think I've missed
a Dallas show since, and have made quite a few road trips along
the way. I spent New Years in Austin watching the boys and they
never stop amazing me. I've gotten to know them a little bit and
I don't think I've met a more awesome group of people. Their street
team, which I'm now a part of, is also full of top notch folks.
I've made alot of new friends and I never stop spreading the word.
Whether it's co-workers, friends, family, or my waitress at Chili's,
I tell anyone and everyone about this truly talented band. I don't
know what VALLEJO really means, or if it's just a last name, but
to me it means LOVE and a true sense of FAMILY and you can't beat
that. There's your quote of the month. Thanks for letting me be
part of "La Familia."

My
passion for the music of Vallejo started back in spring of 2001.
My cousin first introduced me to the group and I loved Vallejo's
music from the very first note they played. A few months went
by before I got to see the guys again in Denton where I go to
school. Once again I was hooked on the guys and I made sure from
then on that I was going to get involved with them and help them
get their name out in any way I could!
A couple of us from the North Texas area made the trip down to
Austin for the New Years show and that has definitely been my
favorite concert by far! The Austin crowd was so full of energy
and that made the show even better! Seeing MC Overlord coming
out during "Modern Day Slave" was a real treat!! Not to mention
the fact that we all rang in the New Year with the best band ever!
Getting champagne sprayed on us at midnight, having a silly string
fight with Omar, the "chick toss" and the kick @$$ music certainly
made my New Year. Hanging out with the guys after the show has
become a favorite part of mine and the guys are the sweetest that
I could have ever possibly imagined!! Their fun-loving personalities
and the gratefulness that that they give back to their fans is
what makes Vallejo like no other! This is going to be an awesome
year I can just tell... and that is because I started off 2002
with VALLEJO!
Thanks for the great pictures for my scrapbooks... Thanks for
the funny faces you sometimes give me instead of smiles... and
thanks for the great times that you have given me and I hope to
see you all more in 2002!

Before
I saw Vallejo, I wasn't much of a local music fan or a concert-goer,
and I felt there was something missing in my life. I had a void
that needed to be filled. When I saw and met the boys at Summerfest
II back in June '01, I was in shock! There was something so capitvating
about them! I walked away from that concert with the name Vallejo
ringing in my ears. I finally saw them again at the local APD
benefit. Their show blew me away. I'd never seen a band with such
energy, nor had I heard another band with a sound matching theirs.
I was hooked! My life has changed a lot since that day. Their
music has had a very positive influence on me, which has made
me a much happier person. Whenever I can't express myself, I put
on a Vallejo cd and let everything I'm feeling flow out with the
music. Their music has also given my life a certain passion, and
with this passion I can now realize my goals. And lastly, they
brought my best friend and I back together when we were falling
apart. Vallejo is a band like no other, a band with unlimited
creativity and caring hearts. I know I will support this band
forever!!

The
three guys are the coolest i met them at the free summer concert
series at cole park in Corpus Christi on June 14, 2001. I never
Miss the band when they are in town. I even had them autograph
my CD's which was the coolest. I would like to help out in anyway
that I can with the band, these guys are on their way.
Thanks,

Hi
my name is Christina, I am a newer member of VST. Well, I have
gotten 7 people to buy the new Vallejo CD, and I have told as
many people as I can find about them. I don't know where their
concerts are sometimes, and I'm strapped for cash so I can't make
it to the concerts, but I do my best at getting people turned
on to Vallejo.
