VALLEJO MUSIC GROUP (VMG) was founded in 2002 by the Vallejo brothers from the Austin, Texas rock band VALLEJO.

Originally created as their own record label to release and distribute the band’s own recordings, VMG eventually pivoted to becoming an independent record label in Austin, Texas, nurturing the city’s rich music community.

Aside from releases from the band Vallejo, the brothers would eventually go on to produce and release recordings from other Austin artists such as MC Overlord, Nagavalli, Derrick Davis, Dead Love Club and hip hop rockers, The Dirty Wormz.

In 2026, VMG shifts its focus to ARTIST DEVELOPMENT, ARTIST/BAND BOOKING and MUSIC PRODUCTION at the Vallejo brother’s various recording studios (512 , Gruene and VMG Studios).
